Independence Day, (Urdu: یومِ آزادی) observed annually on 14 August, is a national holiday in Pakistan. It commemorates the day when Pakistan achieved independence from Britain in 1947.
Although there will be no gun salutes taking place here in Willow Lodge, there will be; Cake and cultural awareness – Educating our future generation.
Our wonderful Residential support Worker Zeeshan has taken center stage with todays events and our Young person even asked if he could wear a Shalwar Kameez too! Of course we made that happen!
