Children miss staff when they are not in the home and are excited to see them.
The manager and staff understand when children’s experiences can be a barrier to forming positive attachments. One child said, -’they love the staff and that the manager is their manager mum’. The monitoring and oversight of the home by leaders are exceptional, informing staff practice daily and having a positive impact on children. The manager has a passion for learning. They use research-informed practice to continually improve outcomes for children. Models of care are used with good effect. They ensure that children receive the right support and that care plans reflect children’s needs.
